ATH inks 800,000 mt supply deal with Scottish Power

UK coal producer ATH Resources has agreed a long-term sales contract to supply utility Scottish Power with 800,000 mt of steam coal over three years on a floating price basis.ATH chief executive Tom Allchurch told Platts that there was a connection to northwest European coal index, API2, within the deal, but would not disclose any more details on the pricing structure.
