China's Shenhua Group teams up with Japan's Mitsui

Chinese coal producer Shenhua Group has agreed to form a comprehensive business alliance with Japan's Mitsui & Co., according to Mitsui on September 14. The core framework of the alliance includes an expansion of coal trading to Japan and China, joint development of overseas coal mines, collaboration of coal chemical business and development of environmental and efficient energy-use business, the release said.
