Henan forms two large coal, chemical groups in consolidation drive

Central China's Henan Province has officially consolidatated several miners into two large coal and chemicals groups, Henan's provincial government said December 8. According to a government release, Pingdingshan Coal Group and Shenma Coal Group have merged into China Pingmei Shenma Energy & Chemicals Group, while Henan Coal Chemicals Group (originally consisting of Yongcheng Coal Group and Henan Coal Gas Group), Zhongyuan Coal & Chemicals Group (originally consisting of Hebi Coal Group and Zhongyuan Chemicals Group), and Henan Coking Coal Group have merged into Henan Coal & Chemicals Group.
