Datong Coal signs deal with CNOOC for coal-to-gas project

China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) has recently entered an agreement with Datong Coal Group and the municipal government of Datong for a large coal-to-gas project and two large coal mining projects in Datong City, according to releases by both CNOOC and Datong Coal in early June.
