Teck sees improving sales volumes in Q3; Asia sales surge

Teck Coal said its sales volumes had improved, with business to Asia-based customers taking up an increasing proportion of total coal sales, after shipping 5.7 million mt in the third quarter of 2009, compared to 5 million mt in the preceding quarter.
