The Asian SM market felt the full blow of the changing demand-supply balance this week and, despite strengthening crude prices, SM prices headed south. With sentiment weak and buyers nervous about incoming deepsea cargoes, prices on the FOB Korea and CFR China benchmarks fell $17.5-31.25 /mt from last week.
