China Coal Energy Co., the listed subsidiary of China National Coal Group mined 10.6 million mt of coal in May, up 7.8% on-year, according to a company release Friday. In the first five months of 2010, China Coal Energy mined 51.95 million mt of coal, up 32.3% on-year.
