Asian general purpose polystyrene prices increased $40/mt on the CFR SE Asia benchmark this week on the back of falling supply due to two major plant turnarounds in SE Asia in February. Thailand's IRPC will shut all its polystyrene units at Rayong in eastern Thailand from end- January to end-March for 60 days of maintenance.
