High density polyethylene tracked up slightly this week on the back of more active trading last week, but was hampered by the turn in market sentiment seen last Friday. HDPE-film was assessed $5/mt higher week on week across Asia at $1,305/mt CFR Far East Asia, $1,320/mt CFR Southeast Asia and $1,305/mt CFR South Asia Wednesday. Sellers were forced to maintain their high offers due to rising feedstock costs, despite the lack of buying interest since Friday.
