Asian acrylontrile prices were assessed down $43/mt weekon week Tuesday to $1,860/mt CFR Far East Asia as theglobal supply glut continued. Feedstock propylene pricesslumped $15/mt week on week to $1,365/mt FOB Korea,compounding bearish sentiment. Far East Asian producerswere offering October shipments at around $1,890-1,900/mtCFR China or $1,850/mt FOB Korea, while buyers remainedby and large indifferent at those levels.
