NWE acrylonitrile spot prices dipped this week, after a deal involving a 2.5kt cargo was reported done at around $1,890/mt CIF Med for early October arrival. The deal was confirmed with the buyer but not the seller. “We’re seeing some stability in prices for now,” a fiber producer said, adding he expected end-user demand to pick up in 2H Sept when customers return from their summer holidays.
