The Asian high density polyethylene market was stable Wednesday as sellers were reluctant to reduce offers amid firming crude oil prices as well as normal inventory levels. Overnight Tuesday, NYMEX April crude futures settled $1.52/barrel higher at $39.96/b, driven by a rally in the US equity markets. Inventory levels turned normal after the latest sell-off, which eased selling pressure on HDPE producers.
