Christmas holidays had impacted on the Northwest European acrylonitrile market this week, with market activity reported as thin. Spot prices remained stable at $1700-1705/mt CIF Med, with the market pegging prices in a range of $1700-1750/mt CIF Med. “There haa not been very much activity in the spot market this week and not a lot of deals being done. But I would say prices remain at around $1750/mt CIF Med,” a producer commented. A buyer added: “We have not bought anything at all on spot this week, relying on our contractual volumes.
