Asian acrylonitrile prices gained this week but were limited as end-users resisted further price increases. The CFR Far East Asia benchmark was up $40/mt week on week at $2,390/mt Tuesday. The CFR Southeast Asia and CFR South Asia markers were up $55/mt and $40/mt, respectively, over the same period at $2,395/mt and $2,350/mt. Asahi Kasei set its April Contract Price for ACN at $2,400/mt CFR Far East Asia last Thursday, up $100/mt from its March settlement. A Brazil-origin cargo was heard traded at $2,280/mt FOB to be shipped into China.
