Asian polypropylene was up slightly this week on the back of tight supply and a feedstock cost push, but failed to gain further on weak market sentiments. PP-raffia/injection was assessed $10/mt higher at $1,490/mt CFR Far East Asia Wednesday, while in Southeast Asia it ended $15/mt higher at $1,505/mt CFR and in South Asia $25/mt higher at $1,520/mt CFR. Tight supply and stable demand pushed prices up last week, when prices were heard to pass $1,500/mt CFR China.
