Spot acrylonitrile prices were $20/mt firmer this week,following recent steep falls, as gains were further supported bythe rebound in Asia. The market remained well supplied despiteproduction cutbacks and delays in the restart of Ineos’280,000mt/year Seal Sands, UK, plant. A deal was heard done at$1,550/mt CIF Santander for H1 Dec delivery, which wasconfirmed with the buyer but not the seller.
