Brazil's Jan propylene contract increased 3% related to December, said a Braskem source. "With the increase, we are following the December price movements we saw in Europe and in the US," a company source said. The Brazil's propylene contract usually follows the contract price movements in US and Europe with a month lag. After the hike, the contract was heard at about $1,305/mt FOB.
