Asian acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene prices were assessed unchanged this week with offers at $2,350/mt or higher on a CFR basis and the price of feedstocks butadiene and acrylonitrile still relatively high. Producers and traders said buyers were reluctant to accept the current offer level as they simply deemed it to be too high. Weakening upstream styrene also dampened the buying idea as end-users expect prices will head down in the near future.
