Saudi's Petro Rabigh delays HOFCC restart to end-July

Dubai — Saudi Arabia's Rabigh Refining andPetrochemical Company, or Petro Rabigh has delayed therestart of its High Olefins Fluidized Catalytic Cracking Unit, or HOFCC, to the end of July, the company said in astatement posted at the Saudi stock exchange, or Tadawul.As a result of the delay, the company expects a drop in salesof polypropylene and gasoline in July, the statement said.The company's HOFCC, at its petrochemical complex inRabigh, has a capacity to produce 900,000 mt/year ofpropylene and 120,000-140,000 b/d of gasoline and wasscheduled to restart mid-July.
