PDVSA president Ali Rodriguez Mar 15 denied reports that 7,000 employees had signed a petition demanding a recall referendum on President Hugo Chavez's rule,claiming the true figure was less than 900.In an interview shown on state television channel Venezolana de Television,Rodriguez said the employees in question would not be fired for signing the petition but may be dismissed for other reasons.
