Participants were still negotiating a potential 5 cents/lb January price hike this week as spot prices kept level. After export prices increased $20/mt last week, trading activity was thin ahead of the holiday weekend. Buy interest waned as supply kept level, however, climbing prices upstream kept the attention of market participants. As trading liquidity thinned, prices for domestic and export product remained flat.
