London—A number of refrigerated propane imports are expected to arrive in Northwest Europe during the second half of September, according to industry sources Tuesday. These imports are reported to total 130,000-150,000 mt and to be sourced from the US Gulf, West Africa, Algeria and Qatar. The cargo from Qatar is something of a rarity as nearly all exports from the Persian Gulf area tend to go to markets in the Far East, sources said. Nearly all of these imports are said to be placed with product going into petrochemicals to be used as feedstock or into storage. "Everything that is coming has a home," said one trading source.
