Iraq exports off in August on less Kirkuk from Ceyhan

Baghdad/Dubai- Iraq's August oil exports fell 124,000 b/d to 1.476-mil b/d,down from 1.6-mil b/d in July due to less Kirkuk crude moving from the Turkish port of Ceyhan,say figures from the Iraqi Oil Ministry obtained Sep 6.Exports from Ceyhan in August were 50,000 b/d,down sharply from 170,000 b/d in July.From the Sufaya field to the adjacent Syrian system,exports averaged 6,000 b/d.Exports from the southern Gulf terminals were 1.42-mil b/d,similar to July.Stocks at Ceyhan were 3.8-mil bbl Aug 5 after Turkish refiner Tupras took its July allocation of 2-mil bbl via pipeline to its Kirikkale refinery.
