Libya extends bid deadline

Paris-Libya has given international oil companies until Jan 29 to submit bids in the North African country's first licensing round since US sanctions were lifted late last April,a senior Libyan official said Jan 10.Libyan OPEC governor Hammouda al-Aswad said the deadline had to be postponed from Jan 10 due to the number of companies bidding for around 104 areas in the round,called EPSA-4.
