The cost of building an oil export trunkline from West Siberia to the northwest coast of Russia could be more than halved if the system terminated at Indeika on the Barents Sea Coast rather than Murmansk on the Kola Peninsula,which is the destination proposed by producers,Igor Solyarsky,vice president of State crude pipeline operator Transneft,told the 2nd Russian Petroleum and Gas Congress June 23.
