The US Energy Information Administration reported a "sizable jump" of 5 cts/gal in regular retail gasoline prices Jan 12,bringing the nationwide avereage of US1.56/gal,the highest level for this time of year since EIA began keeping weekly price records in 1990,an agency analyst said.
