US independent refiner Premcor said June 4 it intends to sell US250-mil in senior notes due 2015 in a private placement. The company "intends to use the proceeds for capital expenditures, including the recently announced plans to expand its Port Arthur, Texas refinery, for acquisitions, and for working capital and general corporate purposes," Premcor said.
