SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes changes to Transco Zone 5 methodology

Following an initial review of market conditions, Platts is now seeking formal feedback on proposals to change the methodology specifications for Transco, Zone 5 delivered. The changes would take effect in both the daily and monthly gas price surveys. Platts is proposing changes to the methodology specifications for Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line, Zone 5 delivered as a result of recurring price disparities between points north of Station 165 and points south of Station 165. Changes would apply to Platts North American Natural Gas daily and monthly price surveys. Platts would begin excluding transactions done at points north of Station 165 within Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line’s Zone 5.
