How to reach peak performance in solvent-based pigment dispersions in an economical and sustainable way?

Very often, new technologies introduced to the market promise peak performance at the expense of higher costs. With this study, we would like to show that an optimal combination of raw materials is very important and can help the formulator save time and raw materials as well as reduce energy costs. This will be demonstrated by choosing one of our most recent products, Efka~R PX 4751 in combination with a well-accepted and very compatible grinding resin (Laropal~R A 81) to prepare resin containing pigment concentrates (RCPC) with some of the most common pigments used in the coatings industry, Performance will be monitored with respect to color development and grinding times in a standard high-end, solvent- based system.
