Once the geometry of the object being modeled has been adequately described using mesh-generation software (Box,p.12),and some initial flow conditions have been specified,the algorithms embedded within the CFD models solve fundamental equations of fluid flow,heat and material transfer,and other phenomena itera-tively.This allows users to simulate virtually any flow field,and model everything from heat transfer to chemical reactions and multiphase flows.
