The "knee'' found in the depolarized light scattering spectra of Ca0.4K0.6(NO3)(1.4) at low temperatures by G. Li, W.M. Du, X.K. Chen, H.Z. Cummins,nd N.J. Tao [Phys. Rev. A 45, 3867 (1992)] appears to have been an experimental artifact.
