Quantum phase shift of spatially confined de Broglie waves in a gravitational field

A small change in momentum in the direction of motion and a corresponding change in the phase of the wave function follow the introduction of a transverse spatial constriction. It is shown that gravity significantly alters this phase shift. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. [References: 6]
