摘要

:Objective To investigate the reasons for academic burnout of nursing postgraduates, and to provide corresponding solutions. Methods 〓The study adopted The Rating Scale for Academic Burnout of Nursing Major Postgraduates, and 30 nursing postgraduates were recruited for evaluation. Based on the evaluation results, semi-structured interviews were conducted on 10 nursing postgraduates who score the highest, and the data obtained were then classified and analyzed. Results 〓Five main themes for their academic burnout were established, including dislike for clinical practice, lack of systematic theoretic knowledge and professional guidance on scientific research, financial pressure, low social status, and bleak career prospects. Conclusion 〓Findings showed that the seriousness of the academic burnout of nursing major postgraduates calls for great attention of colleges, universities and teaching hospitals which, for the training of high-quality talents, need to cope with the situation without delay.
