Policy guidebook paves the way for national standards for onsite non-potable water systems

Water recycling and reuse innovations allow us to maximize precious water resources and meet changing water demands from population growth, climate change, and manufacturing. Specifically, onsite non-potable water reuse systems are changing the way we live and work. These systems collect waste-water, stormwater, rainwater, and more within a building or cluster of buildings, and treat it onsite to be used for non-potable purposes within the building or at the local scale.
