An organisation of US flue-cured growers reckons that it can, and it is making assistance available to any company that wants to use it. "There has been an overwhelming interest among multinational manufacturers in getting market share in that region, and they have bought virtually every independent manufacturer that has been available," said Mr Kirk Wayne, president of Tobacco Associates (TA), which uses grower funds to promote the use of US flue-cured overseas.
