BONUS

BONUS is a Swedish artillery projectile with guided submunitions, and a counterpart to the US Army SADARM. The program began in 1990, and in 1993, the French decided to abandon their own Thomson-Brandt ACED program in favor of joining Sweden on the BONUS. In France, the projectile was called the OBG (Obus Guide) and later ACED (Anti-char a effet dirige). Sweden is acting as the prime developer of the system. Full-scale development was scheduled to be completed in 1994, but this slipped due to the program's reorientation after the French merger.
