Background Clinicopathological features of remnant gastric cancers after gastrectomy for synchronous multiple gastric cancers have not been fully addressed. In this study we evaluated the potential risk factors attributable to the development of remnant gastric cancers after initial gastrectomy for multiple gastric cancers.
