Amendments to Spanish Criminal Enforcement Enters Into Force

Two draft bills by which the Spanish government sought to amend the Criminal Procedure Act to streamline the criminal justice system, strengthen the procedural guarantees and regulate technological investigative measures, have been finalized and entered into force on a general basis on December 6, 2015. From an intellectual property criminal enforcement perspective, the most significant amendments introduced by Organic Law 13/2015 and Act 41/2015 are as follows.
