Levi Strauss & Co. has registered an important victory in Brazil in defense of its product's design and trademarks. On May 18, a Brazilian appeals court in Rio de Janeiro upheld an injunction issued on March 6 that blocks a Brazilian firm from continuing to market products copying two of the unique elements of Levi's world famous jeans.
