Slurry seals for pavement preservation

A slurry seal is a cold mixed asphalt, consisting of a graded aggregate, a binder, fines and additives, (including emulsion), and is a hard wearing surfacing for pavement preservation. Slurry Seals, said to be 30-50% of the cost of other treatments, are for sealing aged and ravelled pavements, filling minor cracks, restoring skid resistance and aesthetic appeal, and can be used on highways, residential streets, parking lots, driveways and any area that needs the pavement to be preserved.
