UK's top factory talent fights for our future

Britain's star manufacturing workers will show the government they've got the talent to deliver on Conservative plans to rebalance the UK economy at the Manufacturing Champions grand final next month. Forty two site employees will fly the flag for UK manufacturing at the event in Manchester on 3 December to an audience including Anna Soubry, minister for small business, industry and enterprise. The final aims to showcase the pride and professionalism on show at UK sites as the Conservative government deliberate over the next phase of industrial strategy. Employees from a breadth of different sub sectors will compete for 10 category prizes including the Employee-led Innovation, Manufacturing Team and Community Champion Awards.
