Gender Inequalities in the 21st Century

The editors of this collection propose that two stories can be told about changes in gender equality in recent decades. The first is a positive one about the huge strides in women's educational and labour market opportunities and participation in the last half century, leading to erosion of the gender pay gap and increased representation in professional and managerial positions.
