Events over the past month have illustrated that the global wool industry lies very much at a crossroads as it looks to capitalise on several global consumer trends in its favour - most significantly the growing demand for eco-friendly products.rnWhilst demand for wool has without doubt been affected by the global economic downturn, it appears that the desire for natural, sustainable and authentic products can help the industry as consumers become more questioning, discerning and environmentally-conscious.
