Africa attracting textile companies

Africa is attracting many companies from the global textile and apparel industry because of cheap labour and the availability of raw materials, according to Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi. Speaking at the opening of the trade expo 'Origin Africa 2012-Ethiopia', Meles added that as infrastructure is necessary to make any business profitable, priority must be given to the development of the sector in the continent.
