Key figure in Scottish weaving retires

Pat Keeney, senior cloth designer at Johnstons of Elgin, announced his retirement at Premiere Vision, marking the end of 49 years in the textile industry. Keeney worked with six different high-profile tweed mills during his career. A surprise reception on the UKFT stand drew an affectionate gathering of friends, international colleagues and fellow exhibitors.
