Euratex, the leading promoter of the European textile and apparel industry, began 2017 by announcing the name of its new president. Klaus Huneke will hold the office for a two-year term, succeeding former president Sege Piolat. One of the main goals on Huneke's agenda is to focus on strategic priorities, such as better communication towards policymakers and stakeholders on the excellence of Europe's innovation and sustainability, and to enhance EU competitiveness.
