Over recent years the Inca Group, which specialises in alpaca tops and yarns and is based in Arequipa, Peru, has put into place a series of methods to provide complete traceability of its products, and two years ago it introduced fully traceable alpaca yarns in its collections. The company’s system has now been certified by the global audit, certification and testing services provider SGS, leading Inca to officially launch its new Traceable Alpaca service.
