The original is copied sharply in focus on the photo responsive material (8). A high resolving pixel type built up medium is used as the copying original (3). Each individual pixel (P fig. 2) reversible in its transmission independently from the other pixels, is modulated corresp. to the image information of the image original. The transmission of each individual pixel of the copy original is modulated by means of a cathode beam. A light valve tube is used as the copying original. A LCD system can be used as the copying original. ADVANTAGE - Image information to be transferred on photo sensitive material, is applied by light which penetrates original, without information to be transferred on material, existing altered in form light permeable original.
