Delayed textile policy causing harm to industry in Pakistan

The delayed Pakistan Textile Policy 2020-25 – a plan created to boost production and exports of value-added textile products in the country – is causing unrest and disappointment within Pakistan’s textile business community. The industry says investors are being deterred from sinking much needed money into the country’s textile industry in the absence of any clear sectoral government policy.
