Australian shorn wool production moves higher

The Australian Wool ProductionForecasting Committee (AWPFC) hasupdated its forecast of shorn woolproduction for the 2021/22 season. Thissecond forecast is for production of310 million kilograms (Mkg) greasy, a5.2% increase on the 2020/21 estimatedproduction of 294 Mkg greasy. This isan upward revision from the committee’s305 Mkg forecast in April.
